Thing # 3

I never really thought of incorporating technology in my class in anyway. I see where it is extremely important and useful though so my eyes have been opened, which is good. For parents that aren't able to attend meetings or for those who are not able to really get physically involved, blogging could be used to make sure all of the parents are updated with classroom activities. Blogging can also be a place where parents express their ideas and inform the teacher and other parents what his/her child best responds to. For example, more parents may write in a blog that a certain way of teaching a lesson is more productive for their children. In addition, I can get ideas from others' writing. This will only make the classroom atmosphere that much more interesting and, more importantly, educational. Blogging ensures gaining knowledge that can be incorporated in so many ways.
